The pictures I posted in the previous message are from the French magazine Generation 4 (May, June, July 1990)
I also found this screenshot in Joystick magazine (June 1990)

In addition, 9 data disks were planned. They'd have been set in various environments: Vikings, Romans, Aztecs, Vietnam, Arctic, World War, Prehistory and Sci-fi!
But Commando War and its expansions will never be released.

Who remembers Action Concept by Titus Software? (1990)
This game engine was supposed to create the most ambitious tactical games ever. Each unit had its own behavior and could interact with its environment differently.
The first game was to be Commando War. It was first shown in the French magazine Generation 4 (April 1990)
