@massivelyop I usually jump into a specific MMO because of the lore (notable exception: GW2 into which I was dragged by friends), but I'm not that much a lore nerd as long as it keeps my suspension of disbelief active (for example, #TSW threw everything and anything in their lore, but in a coherent way, which made an overall cool setting)

@massivelyop my best questing memories come from #TSW's investigation missions, which not only required you to think, but even asked you to get documentation from outside the game (one of them involved trying to find an Hebraic transcription of one of the Ten Commandments while being assaulted by mummies... that's what'a called working under some pressure)

@massivelyop Anima Vortex in #TSW was conceptually cool (and the loading screens were nice, which counterbalanced the fact that they were, actually, just loading screens).
And sometimes, it's more about the journey than the destination, so #LOTRO's slow horse travels must have their rightful spot...

@massivelyop from an MMO in particular or not playing massively online at all?
On the first, I took an almost 6 months off #LOTRO during Rohan (but I played #GW2 and #TSW extensively during this period)
On the second one, I have a yearly two-to-three weeks off MMOs (and mostly cutting my online presence) during my summer vacations, and I think I didn't log on the game for another few weeks earlier this year (but I played Timberborn)

@massivelyop my main is a burglar, so a cloak is mandatory for her.
More broadly, it really depends on the vibe. I don't mind them in #Lotro, but wouldn't use any in #TSW (and I think I didn't in #GW2 either).
And, if I were to play a super hero MMO, the answer would obviously be:

@massivelyop (mounts in #TSW were only cosmetics for running - and were mostly in-store - so I only got a hoverboard, and I don't even remember how to tell how underwheliming it was, and I never made it to the part of #GW2 where you got mounts)

@massivelyop #TSW (I'm still not over its sunset). I also have good sparks of memories from #GW2's WvW(vW), but I'm not sure I want to give it another try which would most certainly spoil them...

@massivelyop it really depends of the overall ambiance in the game (and of the content available). For example I got really hyped for the Moria update on Mordor and the Great Migration to Orcrist in #Lotro, while the partial 65 content (no In Their Absence content, which was what I was expecting) or the Legacy of Mordor content update didn't drag me to the server half as much as they should...
(And I won't talk about the mostly empty server of #TSW)

@massivelyop I'd say #LOTRO if it didn't have a whole country as its theme's theme park (see youtube.com/watch?v=qOw44VFNk8 for reference).
And #TSW has already a theme park in it (and even had a spin-off game about it: store.steampowered.com/app/402 ) so having one IRL might be a bit too meta...

@massivelyop I've played #LOTRO since Beta. I may have been less active from times to times (not counting holidays-without-a-connection), but even when I played other games (#TSW, #GW2), I always logged in at least for the weekly kinship raid... (we had to clear the Ost Dunoth deed, at that period...)

@massivelyop Not daily, but the grindof AEGIS in Tokyo made me abandon #TSW (and I reduced havily my game time when we had to rebuild Hytbolt at a hefty cost...)

@massivelyop up to the point that I switched languages in #LOTRO and never went back (I wish they separated voice acting and text like other games - e.g. #TSW did - though) after the cringe that was Mirkwood's French dubbing.
(I had insights on how it had been decided afterwards, and it's even worse than I thought - and an objective shame as French SoA and MoM voices were spot on)

@massivelyop Aegis in #TSW were an absolute nightmare (et least for me)

I didn't know about this and I've *had* TSW. About every 36 hours, the skin peeled off my entire face. Lasted about 3 weeks. Not fun indeed.
