Musical Interlude: Well, I had to actually work from home today, and probably will for a few more days, which is kinda nice as I can sleep in a bit and just wear PJs while I work, and wander into the kitchen at will. I spent about an hour clearing snow; I dug a path from my side door to the basement laundry room, and I'll start working on clearing my car tomorrow.
But this delightful song kept running through my head, as it always does when I'm home because of snow.

Amy Kucharik does a fun medley of Tiny Bubbles and Bring Me Sunshine on the ukulele. She also did some nice editing to accompany herself singing and playing.
For over a year now, I've been trying to learn more about #music theory, with practical experimentation on instruments I haven't played before. The main thing I've learned is: why #ukelele players always own so many instruments. Nylon strings take days to stabilise after changing between tunings and only sound right in a fairly limited range. Steel 'is more flexible' :-/.

Todavía no he encontrado un buen sitio donde compartir las pocas melodías sencillas de ukelele que voy haciendo. La página de musescore es un poco PAGA PAGA PAGA y me toca las narices darles contenido. Y ukelele-tabs utiliza una notación en texto plana que, aunque a veces es suficiente, no tiene duración de las notas. ¿Sugerencias? #ukelele
