A quick side sketch for a #umakeable project to consider.
This would be a lil power house for mounting other tools to. Seems like a thing I need to see about toying with.

a sketch with e ink of a hand crank device that has mounting holes and a slot.
the handle has an arm attached to the center of a gear, which is perpendicular to an equal gear. both are 45 degree toothed. I do not know the term. the gears are both mohnted to a block with a knotch out the middle such that it accepts a table or platform. the bottom of this has 2 handled screws to tighten the device to the platform. the top of the device, with the gear mounted on top, has holes and slots away from the gears. these accept bolts that can mount devices to which accept power from the top gear.

Looking for this particular fabric, or the name of the type, or any good info on how to purchase 37 yards of it so I never don't have my favorite jacket ever again. It might be ambitious, but recreating it from scratch is the goal in any case. With some additions. :)

A coat with the tag showing its composition, being 57% cotton 43% polyester. The fabric is grey, a distinct thread raised texture on the outside, fuzz fleece on the inside.

I took #grey and made it greyer. XD

For the uMakeable adventure of making things for helping people make things-- I am incredibly inspired by #kiki - because a human made that!
It seems silly to me not to meta build a site called "umakeable" so I will be makeabling it with kiki as the #smolweb interface to the not so smol web- and one thing I am attempting to do is decrapify the makersphere with resources that actually help, and have more than one way to access the information. I thrive on energy, this is one of those that gives me some.

a screen shot of uMakeable.tech- a new kiki instance with default text. this serves as a start of a site that will attempt to enable help to more than one sense on subjects- ie this alt text is for whoever needs it or enjoys it. I would like umakeables to be useeable, uhearable, utouchable, etc as much as we can with the limited, or rather no resources that we have. to me this is a labor of love to anyone who enjoys learning about what we can do with what is around us, and the power of presenting in multiple formats to help us think deeper about our crafts. thank you for coming along with me on this journey, I hope it serves you well.

I am great at starting things. This is me starting a thing. An open source e-ink text authoring and drawing punk tablet. If this actually goes anywhere, you can expect some people will have a fun new punkish tinker tablet to play with, that THEY made!

The target is currently a smaller device I can have in my pocket to do on the go dev...like this!
I will be using the reMarkable paper pro to design a little awkward punk step-sibling essentially :'D
