@penfount this is a great question. I only have these marginally vintage pens like Sheaffer No Nonsense. They are some of my favorite, but they haven't led to me to buy other vintage pens only more No Nonsense. #FountainPen #VintagePens

I like the Parker 51 #FountainPen, but I don't like F and EF nibs. And that is a problem because most Parker 51 pens are available with one of those nib types. Finally, I have found one with a B nib (relatively cheap) and now I am quite happy with a Parker 51. #VintagePens

It's #FountainPen Sunday! (I just made that up 🤣) Vintage fountain pens are my jam, so here is one of my favorites: A restored vac-fill Sheaffer Tuckaway (circa mid 1940s) in carmine striped celluloid with a Lifetime nib. Writes like a dream!

I was reminded today of some of my old favorite writing implements, and I realized I have my old Paper Mate Double-Heart ball-point pens that I used late in high school and into early college. Loved them a lot. Always reliable. Easy to refill.

These are now called, "vintage".

So I wrote a little something with my vintage pen that still writes with a 30+ year-old refill.

Spent 20$ on a Waterman 52 from the 1920s that was non functional, these usually go for 200$. After 5 minutes i replaced the sack and she is good as new.

To my surprise she is even a wet noodle which is the most sought after kind.
