Coming home from Portland yesterday, a shot through the car window as we started to get closer to home. A long day, horrible medical test, some good medical news - no surgery in my near future, huzzah! - and an exhausting trip to IKEA and Trader Joes. We don't get to the big city much, lol, so we have to do all the things. I'm so tired today but it's all good, I was dreading this trip and dreading surgery and now, unless it gets worse, I can relax a bit. Except my esophagus, which apparently should not be relaxing so much. Get it together, esophagus! Tense up like the rest of me! #phoneography #waterylandscapes #photography #oregon
Ship coming into harbor, or, as they say around here, vessel arriving in the Astoria anchorage. It's hard to explain just how big these ships are - they look like toys out in the river but then you come closer to them and they're like mountains: you can't even take them all in. Bigger than buildings, taller than cliffs. #shipping #photography #phoneography #oregoncoast #astoriaoregon #waterylandscapes
