Ugh. It’s so disheartening listening to #WaveformPodcast and they can’t imagine any social media if it’s not made/run by a tech giant. Or more accurately: if it’s not made by a surveillances capitalist, it doesn’t exist

“I think the age of 3rd party apps is gone” from #WaveformPodcast is such a bleak view of the internet. Just because they can’t imagine using a service that wants to exploit their users as far as possible

Listening to the #WaveformPodcast by Marques Brownlee and I’m not shocked, but more disappointed at how poorly any of them understand Mastodon.
