I use dmenu (wmenu) to control sway

@bartl ooh that looks interesting, good find! #AlpineLinux defaults the #Sway install to #Wmenu. It doesn't explicitly say if dmenu-bluetooth will work with wmenu. In the process just learned of j4-dmenu-desktop, but I'm not sure if that helps are not. The whole bars/menus/launchers are all new to me.
