The DH is fine anywhere: suburbia, urban core, etc because everything comes to them & is built for them so it doesn't matter where they live. Since the 1918 pandemic, pundits have been wrongly predicting the demise of cities. Wrong then, wrong now :-)

Then the process has to start again with a new set of calves that might not be quite up to speed on your precise needs.

So then you have to define the requirements of a "good lick" in minutiae to avoid legal disputes over the quality of the delivered services.

Lie on your back, preferably in bed or on some soft carpet.
Bring your knees to your chest and wrap your arms around your knees.
Now pull your knees in, allowing your lower back/butt to be lifted up off the ground for a little bit.

Hold it for a few seconds. If you have lower back pain, this can help a lot.

#YMMV. Might make it worse, too, depending on the location and cause of the back pain

Went to a new vet.

Got an extra 4 years with her, beyond what my original vets were telling me.

I was cynical but her appetite and energy absolutely improved after treatment. The treatment gave us time together, that's all I can tell you 🙏

@IanAMartin @anthonyfloyd.ca thanks :-) that's exactly what folks at MEC have told me. $CAD500 or more for a jacket plus TechWax and DWR that wears out after 2 years of bicycling in YVR rain seems like a rip off but oh well if it's better than wearing plastic or rubber raincoats that don't breath at all and consequently leads in water on the inside of the raincoat. Obvs #Ymmv if you don't ride in Vancouver's rain :-) I do. Still seems like there will be eventually a better way.

@christineburns Personally, I take great care to ensure that my medical records retain as little data as possible. The era where I would have trusted any modern state with that private info are long past. So I find it very reassuring that the system is so broken. #YMMV

btw this is also the reason I don't think syndicating the same post to multiple social media platforms works these days — whether you do this via POSSE or using a tool like Hootsuite. You can kind of tell it's a post sent to various places, because it's not tailored to a certain community. Also, I find the people who do this often don't engage in some of the places the post ends up in — which feels rude to me. #YMMV

So I walked down to the #AustralianWarMemorial today.

The overdevelopment is still underway but for me the feel of the place has changed.

Once, it was a memorial with a collection attached.

Now, to me, and I acknowledge that #YMMV it feels like a Museum with a memorial attached.

@cogdog @laird Not tool centric LOL :-) to want something like a free and open source google docs clone that doesn't generate terrible HTML(i think an open source version of Google Docs without its terrible HTML actually exists thankfully!), and something like github issues for issue tracking that is usable by non geeks. Same for wikipedia. Wikipedia is for librarian and other geeks not normal people; imho markdown and wikimedia markup are too hard for normal people. #Ymmv

@aeva I've been mulling for a bit.

If your app is available across markets let's say Epic. F-Droid, and Google Play then I see this as a positive way to disambiguate from copies/scams.

If it is only available on Android it matters not, and only on the others (until they require it) it is unneeded.

All of this depends entirely on the implementation details that are so far sparse.

But I am less annoyed than I was this morning. #YMMV
