I’m a #strategy #architect by trade, focusing mostly on #iam and #zerotrust - albeit a long history in #infrastructure architecture. Cut my teeth as it were during the virtualisation revolution (I feel older than that 😂)

Prior to that, I did desktop builds using Norton ghost and then #sccm.

Did you know that you can use #PIM to protect access to your resources?

Using #RBAC and #EntraID groups, you can build out a pretty robust approval model. I recently updated a blog with details on how to do it for #Yobah.

I’m in a real whingy mood with technology today .

Trying to log a project we did with a customer via #yobah towards our #microsoft partner status - and it’s like pulling teeth.

Add an msg file, nope, fails. Add any file, sits scanning for hours.

Might just turn off tech and give up 😂

I spend a lot of time working with orgs on how best to govern their cloud platforms - and many try to ‘rule with an iron fist’ , where in reality you can be a little more chill with the right guardrails in place.

Question for #marketing types who have a #mastodon account for their business - is it worth running? Do you see much traction?

I suppose you go mostly where your customers are, and thus see the action.

I’m considering having a #yobah account, but I’d have to post manually and not sure how much info we will see read.

I’m testing that I’ve managed to get the attribution tags working on https://yobah.co.uk/ - fingers crossed :)

Although, for consistency, I should create a #yobah mastodon account, rather than just me 😂
