Yes, and Vimes admits it himself. It is why he sends his younger self away in #Nightwatch. He admits the excuse of "because it is me doing it" is a weak one. He admits that part of what he is doing looks and feels like it is torture even if he thinks it isn't. Spoiler: He's wrong. Threatening torture, and implying torture, are still classed as a form of torture.

My subconscious throws up the weirdest most random shit into my dreams sometimes.

I had a dream last night that Bea Arthur appeared to me and told me she was God.

I have no idea why this happened. I haven't watched any show with her in for years.

I do think I might have a new religion though.
