Had fun participating in #GDTVJam this year. Pleased with the result: https://dr-doctor.itch.io/teknopunk-the-first-year #GameDev #Godot
What can be better than beer and sushi in life?
After over a decade of Lmms, I may finally migrate to something else. Reaper maybe.
Maybe next I ought to look into Limbo x86 and get my tablet to contribute too
Got the Bryce Lightning running on Mac M1 as well via Porting Kit. That's my render farm all set.
Testing out network rendering #bryce3d #screenshotsunday
Recently bought Bryce3D to play with as I loved the 90s/Y2K aesthetic. It's a bit toy-like and limited compared to like Blender but full of happy accidents and the renders look great. May use it for a jam project.
@afreytes Oh yes great game! Came with my first PC.
I know I'm old man yelling at clouds, but I miss not only physical buttons on devices, but multiple physical buttons.
I'm really getting tired of the current trend seen on headphones. Hold for 5 seconds to turn on, hold 5 seconds to turn off. Tap once for volume up. Double tap for next song, triple tap to turn on noise canceling. Hold the button down for 20 seconds while patting your head and doing interpretive dance in order to pair Bluetooth.
Give me an on/off switch. Give me an analog volume wheel. Give me dedicated buttons for functions
It's like a generation of designers grew up with one button Apple mice, and forgot how much more simple doing actual work with dedicated buttons actually is
@ipg Haha
Was reaching for Jasmine tea and picked up Earl Grey by accident. Didn't realise until after like 5 sips thinking this Jasmine tasted different.
Why would people spend hours doomscrolling when video games exist?
YouTube must be recommending me Mario Kart 8 direct from 11 years ago for a laugh
@yora I certainly did alot of naive, stupid things when I was younger. But I'm talking specifically of today's situation where perhaps some people are spoiled by the ease of access to information. Information of varying qualities and act quite bullish or disengenious over it sometimes.
@eoinoneill Yes everyone suffers it to a degree and my comment would imply not equal. It's mainly I feel that younger people like to lecture me about the world a lot and i think back to my younger self whether I was like that. But I guess I shouldn't generalise too much.
Is it me or are young adults (late teen to early 20s) more prone to dunning kruger effect in today's times?
