My second run through #baldursgate3 was nearly perfect. I made it through the final gauntlet and took the final boss down while taking no damage to any party members. So I get cocky and start my third run.

On the second real fight in the game, Gale dies. Well, crap! I resurrect him and am ready to move on. Wait! Where’s Lae’zel? She died too!

I know that Shogun did really well at the Emmy's last night and that this will probably assure a 2nd season, but I wish it didn't.

The show was a perfect story. It's source was the original book by James Clavell of which there was only one of. To have a second season, they'll need to bring in new writers to continue the story.

Imagine if the Mona Lisa did such a good job bringing in new people to a museum, that they decided to bring in an artist and add to the painting.

Noticed last night that one of the tomatoes on the counter was going a bit soft. No biggie; we’ll throw it out tomorrow.

Well, that slightly soft tomato turned a corner faster than any produce known to humankind overnight. The smell is still lingering after several cleanings. I think our only recourse at this point is to move.

I’m seeing improvement in my #baldursgate3 skills. In my first run, the Nere/Grymforge fight gave me so much trouble. On my current (second) run, even Gale didn’t fall down.

I’m approaching the end of my first #baldursgate3 playthrough and, besides the obvious goal of defeating the bad guys, I’ve had one other primary goal in mind: A happily ever after with Gale.

If that goes sideways because of a random dialog option I might have chosen 200+ hours ago, I might come unglued.
