This type of tourism also drives a lot of, imo, unnecessary air travel, which in turn is a big part of what drives climate change. Frankly, this sounds like spending a lot of time and money to be sensorially assaulted. No thanks.

@grimalkina Yes. This is the way I think of it as well. "What factors lead to people using LLMs to the extent they do? and "What factors lead to people looking for an unassailable authority to seek answers from?" are questions that you can actually devise critical approaches for. Whereas, "What makes people lazy?" doesn't because laziness is a self-contradictory concept that is simultaneously seen as an essential characteristic but also one that people can train themselves out of.
