@Kurt It's working know. I had to wipe because a typo messed up my Magisk install and threw me into a bootloop.

@Kurt I think I figured out what happened.
I tried to restore a Titanium backup but, evidentially, Titanium is trash now and my "backups" are corrupted. When I restored, it put bad data into the memory/cache for system apps - which jacked everything up.
I cleared my Updater memory and it works again (got the Jan 13 update). I'll see about updating when I get home and have access to adb, etc in case things go sideways.
The wind finally did it. My OCFD feed line broke this morning.
I'm not looking forward to bringing the antenna firm when it's stupid cold and windy outside but we're supposed to be getting snow Saturday.
@Kurt my update and settings search keep crashing, networking issues, my cell reception seems not as good, and I get popups indicating my download manager keeps crashing. Also but probably independent, my #Titanium backups are all useless. Is a shame because I've used that program for a decade but it is mostly useless.
I hope things are better when I update and expect to be updating over #adb because of the updater issue.
Anyone else having issues with #LineageOS 22.1?
Mine seems real buggy.

@va3db my brother, father's, and my first rig was an HW-16 but we quickly out grew it and my dad bought us an HW-101 (not the one in my picture) for $35 at a hamfest (mid 80s). When I got back in the hobby, I went looking for it but it was lost to the ages. I picked up this one on the local traders net. It's a solid rig all around.

If you need a short description of your weather (Maidenhead loc) to put in your macros, you can use this service :
put it in a cron job :
wget -q -O /home/me/wx.txt "https://wx.f1rum.fr/?loc=JN25hc50"
In fldigi, you can use the macro keyword FILE
<FILE:/home/me/wx.txt>
Weather description comes from https://openweathermap.org/
A question, now that daylight saving time has started in the US.
Do you like changing the clocks twice a year?
@n9uxc it might be. I'm going to review the handbook but, for now, I'm going to assume it was another bigot talking big.
One thing I find interesting is that they operate as though no one else is listening.
Nothing puts me off wanting to get on the radio more than hearing a bunch of racist, geriatric boomers talking about how we should "eliminate" all the immigrants - one of which is a VE Liaison who said he would refuse to administer tests to immigrants. I've seriously curtailed my engagement on 2m.
One of the reasons I do not support expanded HF privileges for Technician and one of the reasons digital and CW are as popular as they are, I presume.
I have now gotten my FT5DR set up and both my PiStar and Openspot are configured for Yaesu System Fusion.
Does anyone know of any good digital nets or rooms/nodes worth checking out?
