My first contact while activating a #POTA spot this weekend was that operator’s first #HF #hamradio contact after recently upgrading to General. I’m glad they took the time to let me know and I was honored to be the first in their HF logs.
It was a great way to start off that activation.

I'm trying to get my RTL-#SDR set up to monitor #WSPR, just for starters.

Then I'll try raising some local repeaters, see if I can get on a net.

I really wish I had a friend who lived in a high-rise apartment in #Dallas or something. Imagine chilling out there and yakkin' at folks on the 2m calling frequency all day, ha!

I think #HF will be out of my price range, and #MorseCode will be beyond my skill set for some time.

#POTA DE-0618 Königsbrücker Heide (#WWFF DLFF-0141, #GMA DA/SX-230 Wettinhöhe) is a former military training area. When you climb the tower, you’re able to see the enormous size of it. There are two nice places to sit which allow you to put up decent antennas. Renfield is an amateur radio contest contact aggregation server for [Not1MM](https://github.com/mbridak/not1mm). It uses [Textual](https://textual.textualize.io) for rendering the interface. This provides the user with either a CLI or a web interface depending on how it is launched.
