Hey folks, you can call me Chris, Lana, or KDH. I'm a rather strange non-binary trans femme individual with a love of video games, technology, and science fiction. I wish I were more creative so I'm always looking for those outlets.
Fellow home server enthusiasts please say hi!

Edit: this seems to have resonated with a lot of people and I've rejected a lot of nonsense replies or people being contrarian and annoying :dancing_baby: I don't care if you disagree! Write your own post about it! :')
@ghostlyash @sodiboo But are you using samba, or the real Windows server message block to do it?
"White cis gay men who align with the far right donât care what happens to trans people, queer people of color, or anyone outside their social circle.
Theyâve already bought their seat at the table, through marriage rights, corporate approval, or simply the benefit of whiteness.
So when they say, âweâre going too far,â what they mean is, weâve gotten everything we wanted.
Youâre making things inconvenient."

"Pussy Riot showed solidarity on No Kings' Day, participating in the march in Los Angeles on Saturday. They joined the demonstration while displaying a red banner that read, 'Itâs Beginning to Look a Lot Like Russia.'
The march in downtown Los Angeles drew about 20,000 people, and was one of 2,000 locations that held 'No Kings' Day protests against the president, who has deployed the National Guard and the Marines to L.A. over protests opposing his administrationâs aggressive raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The protests were held on the same day Trump threw an expensive military parade on his 79th birthday in Washington, D.C.
Pussy Riot co-founder Nadya Tolokonnikovaâs 'Police State' installation at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA was postponed Sunday, when the National Guard was deployed. 'Due to evolving conditions in downtown Los Angeles and the proximity of The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA to ongoing demonstrations and military activity near the Los Angeles Federal Detention Facility, the museum has made the decision to adjust its operating hours and event schedule out of concern for the safety of staff and visitors,' MOCA said on its website. The 10-day exhibit was originally set to conclude tomorrow, with a panel and performance of Siberia. The rescheduled dates have not yet been released.
In a statement regarding Pussy Riotâs participation in the 'No Kings' march, Tolokonnikova reflected on Russia and the current state of the world in relation to her exhibit. 'Itâs not quite a penal colony here, but a halfway house,' she said. 'Once again, when I write a statement or a song, a demon on my left shoulder is whispering: âHow much is too much? Will this get you jailed or not quite yet??â The answer is â idfk. When the law is being used not to protect freedoms, put to punish â selectively and voluntarily â those who speak out, no lawyer can tell you whatâs safe, and whatâs not. As my Russian lawyer used to say, 'Nadya, stop asking me whatâs safe â if you want to be safe, leave Russia.'
Tolokonnikova said that she refused to leave her home country, until she realized 'If I stayed, Iâd spend the rest of my life behind bars.' She added that Russian President Vladimir Putin promised 'safety and stability' and instead is 'waging the bloodiest war in modern Europe.'
'Itâs beginning to feel a lot like RussiaâŚ. Everywhere you go,' she continued.
My job as an artist is to interpret those feelings. I felt that tingle for a bit now, that is why I did the POLICE STATE exhibit,' she said. 'The walls are closing, the camera systems are getting AI upgrades, you have to censor what you say or unidentified masked men will show up at your home, at your work, at your church. One day, leaving the museum, I stepped into an actual police state â rows of police assaulting peaceful protesters.'
'I guess you could say itâs my first artistic collaboration with the United States Military,' she concluded. 'Now we are on the street protesting alongside people who believe immigrants make America great.'"

This is one of the best communicated responses I have ever seen against people trotting out "these are riots, not protests, look at the property destruction."
This is from a random post on /r/animeexpo.
You can find wisdom in the strangest places.
i hope this email (brick) finds you (cop car) well (at a high velocity)
By a factor of 20:1 (N=136) trans people prefer the adjective âtransâ instead of âtransgenderâ. It's what I prefer too, I'm glad to have back up.
Chat, is this solarpunk?
ICE are, by design, taking people who are actively attempting to obey the law.
What this tells me is that that obeying the law is no defense, and indeed a negative defense, against the illegal actions of the would-be God-Emperor.
What this tells me is that no protest will ever be peaceful enough, no action other than a kowtow and a lick to his tiny, shit-stained boots will ever be the 'right thing to do'.
If the most peaceful protest is punished, the next step in the social struggle is decidedly more non-peaceful.
"Don't give Trump an excuse" - fucking.....what excuse? He's already taking people off the streets, from their homes, schools, and jobs. What excused that?
Fucking victim-blaming fucking bull shite that sort of thing is.
