Husband and father of 3. I am into all things retro and own my own Indie game company with a focus on modern retro games. Over the last few years I have also developed a big interest in the design and 3D printing of custom items.

Saboteur 2 - Avenging Angel (1987)
This is the sequel to the hugely successful original. It was created by Clive Townsend and released by Durell for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and MS-DOS. The player this time controls a sister of the Ninja from the first game who is on a mission to avenge his death. This was one of the first action-adventure games with a female protagonist and was well received by critics.
@JeffM it certainly was a stand out game and one I did very much enjoy even if I never finished it 🙂
Thanatos (1986) Durell Software
This is an action game developed and published by Durell Software. It was designed by Mike Richardson and released for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC. The player controls a large dragon and has to initially rescue a sorceress before transporting her to various locations to finish the game. I have played this many times but never completed it (halfway maybe). I have always had great fun trying all the same. When released this was a great success with all but one (ZX Spectrum) magazine giving it 90% or more.
Finally got round to setting up my 3D Printing service. Its only small ATM but fingers crossed it will grow. New items are being added gradually as well as a custom design service is available.
We are making steady progress on 'Project Nova'. The arcade mode is the main focus ATM with the adventure /story heading for a Kickstarter 😎👍

@reidrac thats a lot of games 👍
Lunar Jetman (1983) Ultimate Play The Game
The original Lunar Jetman was developed and published by Ultimate Play the Game. It was released for the ZX Spectrum in 1983 and later on the BBC Micro. It was one of their first 48K games. It was also one of my favourite ZX Spectrum games and as such I developed and released this remake in 2014 (seems like a long time ago now). It features all the original enemies and has around 20 levels. It's a hard game but so was the original. Unlike the original you can attach the rover cannon and also carry the bomb which is needed to destroy the enemy missile base. To add a little variety every 4 or 5 levels there is a fairly heavy meteor show. If you would like to give this a try it is available for FREE from Itch.io
Tranz Am (1983) Ultimate Play The Game
This was an amazing game and one I spent a lot of time playing back then. It was developed and released in July 1983 for the ZX Spectrum by Ultimate Play The Game and only required 16K of RAM. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States and centres around a race where the player is on a quest to obtain the Eight Great Cups of Ultimate, which are scattered throughout the country. I never did finish it but always had fun trying.

@Gargron hi I am hoping you can help. Currently I am logged in on my PC and on the app on my Android device. I cannot however login on Chrome on my Android device as it says I have the wrong password. This is fine as I could have forgotten it however when I fill in the reset password dialog nothing is sent? I know I am using the correct email as I confirmed it in the settings on my PC.
Quick WIP video showing the first arcade level of Project Nova. It will feature a minimum of 10 arcade style levels each with multiple difficulty levels. We are also interesting on running a Kickstarter campaign inorder to fund the planned adventure mode which will feature multiple endings.

Cookie (1983) Ultimate Play The Game
This was one hard game but one that I did really enjoy. It certainly offered a good challenge. It is a cooking-themed shoot 'em up developed and published by Ultimate Play the Game which was released exclusively for the ZX Spectrum in 1983 and only needed 16K of RAM. The player has the role of Charlie the Chef and has to bake a cake, however his five ingredients are sentient and attempt to escape his pantry. To do this Charlie has to shoot and knock them into the cooking bowl while avoiding being hit by or knocking unwanted items into the bowl.
Starquake (1985)
This classic action-adventure platform game was written by Stephen Crow for the ZX Spectrum and published by Bubble Bus Software. It was ported to the Commodore 64, MSX, Amstrad CPC, Atari 8-bit family, Tatung Einstein, the BBC Micro, PC and the Atari ST. There has been an unofficial Amiga port of this which I have been meaning to try for a long time. This was an incredible game that me and my cousin played a silly amount back in the 80s. I never did finished it however I did come close a fair few times.
Pssst (1983) Ultimate Play The Game
This game was developed and published by Ultimate Play the Game and was released for the 16Kb ZX Spectrum. In the game, Robbie the Robot has to protect his plant (a Thyrgodian Megga Chrisanthodil) as it is attacked by various insects, each of which needs a different repellent to neutralise it. This is a very simple game but also a very enjoyable one. I spent many hours playing this back in the 80s.
Preview of a custom design MiSTer case I am producing for Antonio Villena's awesome IO USB + board.
@bram_dingelstad that's pretty cool 👍
@blu256 the only thing I've seen that is a little awkward is when you try following someone on a different server.
Jetpac (1983) Ultimate Play The Game
This is an action packed shooter developed and published by Ultimate Play the Game and released for the ZX Spectrum and Commodore VIC-20 in 1983 and the BBC Micro in 1984. The game follows Jetman as he must rebuild his rocket in order to explore different planets, while simultaneously defending against hostile aliens. Reviewers praised Jetpac's presentation and gameplay, and it won "Game of the Year" at the Golden Joystick Awards in 1983. There have been many remakes most of which have been pretty forgettable. My favourite being Jetpac DX which is a modification of the original rather than a full remake. It adds an excellent 128 AY tune and some new fresh level layouts. A download link is in the YouTube video description.
Now these were epic ZX Spectrum games. Produced by the legendary "Ultimate Play The Game". I've finished a fair few of these (other than the never ending ones) many times ❤️
My current work in progress game is called "Project Nova". This video is a little old and still using mostly old resources. There will be a big update to this shortly as well as a Kickstarter campaign to fund the development of the story / adventure mode.
