@flexghost That’s just foul. No one wants to see a crusty old man naked. I mean I guess there are some freaks out there. Now David, that is something to behold.

Good. The whole concept of cash bail is that people should be detained pre-trial based on how much money they have, instead of whether they're a flight risk or a risk to the community. It's an indefensible system. It should be abolished everywhere.
"The Illinois Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld a state law eliminating cash bail. Illinois will now become the first state in the nation to eliminate cash bail when the new law takes effect Sept. 18."

This is a news story from 2023. This year. White residents won't let the duly elected Black Mayor take office.
@anneapplebaum I would hope that the cruelty demonstrated by Putin would end war forever. Of course if he succeeds we’ll just have authoritarian governments all over the world. Just like we all now have less grain now.
@georgetakei Proud to say that’s my hometown. Old bigots hate how they vote for Libtards. Hell yes!
We don't have a cancer drug shortage
We don't have an energy shortage
We don't have an insulin shortage
We don't have a housing shortage
We don't have a teacher shortage
We don't have a labor shortage
We don't have a food shortage
We have a billionaire excess who buy politicians to deny us our basic human rights.

HOW TO SURVIVE THE HEATWAVE:
1. Stay hydrated.
2. Have an ice cream cone.
3. Dismantle the fossil fuel industry which is literally burning the planet for the short term profit of a vanishingly small capitalist class.
4. Wear loose clothing.

Imagine being an exotic bird or reptile or whathaveyou who got filmed for a big budget BBC nature documentary and you have all the homies over for a watch party and then when you’re on screen they play the silly music under your mating dance. all trombones and slide whistles. you’ll never recover from this
"The biggest reason personal blogs need to make a comeback is a simple one: we should all be in control of our own platforms.
If what is happening on Twitter hasn’t demonstrated it, our relationship with these social media platforms is tenuous at best. The thing we are using to build our popularity today could very well be destroyed and disappear from the internet tomorrow, and then what?
What happens to all the content you have created?"

Does it bother anyone else that JS Illuminati so over confidently pushed SPAs and JS rendered everything, only to later side step and re-invent server side rendering?
