ISSN International Centre has released a clarification regarding ISSN assignment for publications from #occupied or #disputed territories. These include:
🔷 Adding detailed publication history including earliest and current places of publications.
🔷 Split publications by closing original ISSN records and assigning a new one.
🔷 Ensure proper linking of related titles through bibliographic fields and public annotations.
🌻 U.S. cuts funding for unit tracking Ukrainian children abducted by Russia
🚨 The U.S. has ended a key contract with Yale’s Humanitarian Research Lab, which monitored the forced relocation of Ukrainian children to Russia. This move disrupts efforts to track abductions and gather evidence for international prosecution.
