OSTrails joined 500 participants from 36 countries at the EOSC Symposium 2025 in Brussels, marking the launch of the EOSC Federation. We presented how the FAIR Interoperability Framework and DMP assessment tools support consistent, trusted FAIR evaluations across nodes.

These developments build on long-standing community work via the GDI Forums and the National Open Science & Open Research Data Programme, positioning the pilot as a key link between OSTrails, ReData & PNCADAI.
André Vieira (University of Minho) & Filipa Pereira (FCT/FCCN) presented “Highlights of OSTrails project: #OpenScience Plan-Track-Assess Pathways”, demonstrating how our PTA framework supports national policies & services, while national experiences enrich the OSTrails Commons for #EOSC.
OSTrails was at the 12th Portuguese RDM Forum in Bragança last week!
Teams from the University of Minho and FCT met with the national community to discuss progress in research data management and share their OSTrails pilot plans: machine-actionable DMPs, enhancing FAIRness in repositories, and improving interoperability across RDM services.
