We're excited to announce we're starting a podcast "Curate This!" where we interview (bio)curators and have them show us how they work (live!)

In the first episode, we talked with @drsbello about curating mouse genotypes and alleles in @MGI

We’re really happy to take part in the @eosc_everse Community Engagement Event at @CERN

A great chance to meet colleagues, exchange ideas, and share work on open-source software development and quality indicators for FAIR and DMP assessment, with the goal of converging & building future collaborations.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.
I am looking foward to exchange and get inspired by your work.

Since some of you wanted to know more about my research:
feel free to have a look at my last publication on movement coordination in people with low-back pain (doi.org/10.3389/fspor.2025.152). We measured #kinematics in 306 adults and made the whole data set and code publicly available (doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14050785).

This week, OpenAIRE took part in the CIMAR-LA Seminar The Open Science Tools Series – Data Management Planning in Practice, presenting ARGOS through a live demo.

The session showed how researchers can use ARGOS to create and manage Data Management Plans aligned with Open Science and FAIR principles.

The programme also included presentations on the role of DMPs in Open Science and a national case of implementing a DMP system.

Assuming that the conference "Perspectives on Scientific Error" 2026 (also known as PSE8)

has the , I am happy to report that it now also has a presence in the ecosystem at w3id.org/spaces/PSE8
In preperation for the nanopublications hackathon om 2026-02-13, we are going to use that space to experiment with the use of nanopublications for conference microblogging.

Hi Fediverse,

I am new here and would like to give a short #introduction.
I am currently doing my #PhD in #biomechanics at the #HUBerlin where I focus on motor control of the trunk in the presence of low-back pain. As part of an interdisciplinary research team around the #CharitéBerlin our group is adressing #mechanics, #morphology and #motion of the spine.
I am interested in #rstats, #Linux, #OpenScience, #FAIRData and #FreeSoftware.
