But as a once in a great while (like every five years or so) rider who has taken two-hour trail rides, I can attest to the jelly leg effect.

I hate stories that have someone who has never ridden a horse before ride one for hours, and then never mentions the fact that YOUR LEGS AND BUTT ARE FUCKING JELLY for hours afterwards.

House Republicans are trying to pass a bill to implement a MASSIVE 23% national sales tax on all taxable goods and services — with more tax hikes to come later on.

This would be absolutely crushing for middle-class families.

@MeidasTouch It would kill the poor. Under current law, income tax is $0 for $12,400 AGI. So, unlike the middle class, who would supposedly not pay income tax, offsetting *some* of the national sales tax, every single dollar the poor spend would cost them an additional 23 cents.

Of course it won’t pass the Senate, but still…
