Finally finished processing these photos taken on a chilly night last October at Hess Nature Preserve in Northern Michigan. I took these with a Sony a7r2 and a Pentax Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8 lens. I processed with #darktable.

Autumn Blue

Autumn in Minnesota is a bitter sweet time. It is sweet because of the amazing beauty of the changing colors surrounds us. The lower sun creates amazing light and shadows. The days are dryer and amazingly comfortable. They are bitter because we know oh too well that WINTER is coming soon.

But alas I choose to enjoy every second and I hope you to also.

This was captured on a recent walk with my photography group "Shutter to Think". We adventured into a local park that is very close to use and we are so grateful that we have this incredible resource so close to us.
