Excited when I updated to the latest #OmnissaHorizon client and found it officially supports #wayland now. I'm still struggling with the USB service working on #linux , but it was a pain even with the old client.
On #windows clients, I'm getting double characters when a meta character (e.g., shift) is also pressed. Ugh. Back to the old version on Windows.
I think I have a good fetchmail/exim/gmail-api-transport system setup now that would make the #gmailify demise painless.
All contingent on how often #google makes me reauth for an API key/token. "Never" would be a pretty good answer.
Does anyone have a good way to send an email alert when the token soon can't be renewed? (I think I know how to do this with AWS, but haven't looked into it with GCP)

⚠️ Scam alert: if anyone ever asks you to "temporarily change" the email address on your Mastodon account, DO NOT DO THIS.
There is currently a scammer posing as a server admin telling people to temporarily change their Mastodon account's email to an address supplied by the scammer. This is a scam, don't do it.
Real admins will NEVER ask you to do this.
