Electronic mail is so confusing. Why do I need to choose a provider and how do I even decide? And once I have an address, how do I find my friends’ addresses and send them letters? Will I only be able to send letters to people using the same provider?

There is a lot of hate and lies made up about people on social media. The best way to get through it is by not caring and continuing to do what you know is right.

I will give big points to the first news organization, big or small, that:
* Sets up an instance for its newsroom,
* Sets up an instance for the community it serves,
* Enables rel=me for staff,
* Creates a boost-on-Mastodon sharing function,
* Enhances that function so headlines/images (with alt-text) appear in the toot,
* Covers the Fediverse as more than a geeky curiosity or alt-Twitter,
* Listens to and joins in the conversation here.

Hunter Biden is a schoolyard level response by the GOP into investigations of Trump’s very serious corruption, abuse of power, and now chargeable crimes committed during his last weeks in office, including obstruction of Congress, conspiracy to defraud the U.S., obstruction of justice and even violations of the Espionage Act.

Still, they’re obsessed with a laptop and the president’s son. If that’s how the GOP wants to spend the next two years, they will pay dearly for it in ‘24. Mark my words.
