The same Simon Landmine you might know from elsewhere.

@TheBreadmonkey This, from legal journalist Jeffrey Toobin’s Wikipedia page, is not ideally how you’d want your Wikipedia page to be organised.
@alice In my late teens I dated this guy for a short while, then we stayed friends. One day he told me that what he missed about dating was having regular physical contact with another human. His parents & older brother had stopped hugging him since he wasn't a young boy anymore, and his circle of friends was all male and of course they didn't hug each other. Dating, to him, had been an oasis of physical affection.
The conversation was eye-opening for both of us.

Now I hope you understand why I disowned my ENTIRE Maga family.

I bet men would be less lonely if they hugged each other once in a while and meant it.

deploying solar panels over farms increases crop yields by up to 18% by preventing them from getting scorched, meaning huge solar power plants can be built with no harm to natural landscapes

@grumpygamer Part of what entitles the bar to ID is that there is a very standard and "checks and balances" definition of alcoholic beverage published by the government and not, you know, whatever advertisers and visa and mastercard are currently feeling deserving of a threat to shut down the bar's complete access to the most basic payment services, based entirely on the vibes of whomever is currently writing the most complaint emails to them (usually a fundamentalist religious nutjob).
As you know I have often observed that a major part of the UK's economic problems as tied to a rubbish management culture;
so, as you would expect, I am sympathetic to the argument that current management sees staff in a mechanical way, drawing out of them effort until the (all too predictable) failure.
But, thinking about 'circular work' would encourage managers & workers to develop more sustainable work practices that fostered well-being not degrade it.

ReformUK are liars and cheats.
Let's hope they don't get anywhere near power. #ReformUK
I'm not going to waste my precious human time reading something that you didn't spend your precious human time writing.
I really don't care about the well-aligned randomly stolen words of a text-generating machine you are using for cheap marketing.
Yes, that is correct, the US Department of Justice, which has made its ultimate and absolute loyalty to Donald Trump clear even in violation of the law, just removed the 86 page Department of Justice prosecution memo, containing the FBI and its Crimes Against Children Human Trafficking Unit notes about the 10 co-conspirators the Bureau was developing a case against in 2019 before Epstein was even arrested again, from its Epstein Files releases. That would be the very same Department of Justice memo that exposes FBI Director Kash Patel as a liar who perjured himself under oath. That would also be the same 86 page DoJ memo that effectively proves Trump, his Attorney General Pam Bondi, and her deputy AG Todd Blanche (along with many other people in the Trump administration) are engaging in a criminal conspiracy to protect rich and powerful child rapists, including it would appear, Donald Trump himself.

DOJ Epstein prosecution memo vanishes after press inquiry
"An 86-page Justice Department prosecution memo that included details on “potential co-conspirators” of Jeffrey Epstein “mysteriously disappeared” from the DOJ’s website after the agency was asked about the document by the Miami Herald, investigative reporter Julie Brown revealed Saturday.
“Contrary to what the FBI and DOJ have said over the past year, it turns out there really is an FBI list of other people suspected of possible wrongdoing in connection with Jeffrey Epstein,” Brown, who writes for the Herald, wrote on her Substack Saturday.
“One of the documents that outlines the DOJ investigation into ‘potential co-conspirators of Jeffrey Epstein’ – the DOJ’s 86-page prosecution memo – mysteriously disappeared from the Government’s website this week after we asked the DOJ about it.”
The Herald published a report earlier on Saturday about the prosecution memo, which it noted had since been removed from the DOJ’s website at the time of publication. A copy of the memo, however, was preserved by Brown before its removal and contains details about potential co-conspirators of Epstein, albeit with their names redacted."
Frankly, I'm not going to waste my time ruminating on whether or not the Trump administration understands the internet is forever, or how the Streisand effect works, especially given the absolutely complicit behavior of US corporate media throughout the coverage of the entire Epstein scandal, all the way back to at least his first arrest. The fact is Trump's administration is full of bootlicking nazis, complicit cronies, and guys who post white nationalist rants in the comments section under anonymized handles. These aren't smart people, but quite frankly they don't have to be in a media environment where every new lie by the Trump administration is treated as if it might be true, and even when they're exposed as lies, rarely get brought up again in those same outlets.
The fact is the Trump administration just took down the key document that proves the entire Justice Department, and the President of the United States, are violating the law to cover up for a billionaire pedophile ring, for a reason - and no, it is not possible that reason is innocent. This is another story that should be front page news tomorrow, but might not be because the 86 page memo that should take down the entire Trump administration at this point, wasn't front page news in the first place.
You can feel how you want to feel, but that seems pretty suspicious to me; I guess pedophile blackmailers, billionaires, and the media outlets they own, gotta stick together.
Shoutout to @clintruin for bringing this story to my attention earlier today.
