Too much focus on CGI, ham-handed political messaging, and worn out recycled storytelling gimmicks instead of returning to basics and just telling good, character-driven stories.
Granted, these are just the overnight ratings, but that's not a good sign. Consolidated ratings included, this isn't likely to improve much (if at all).
The Timeless Child ended Doctor Who, and I don't see the show returning any time soon.
1.58 million viewers this week for Doctor Timeless Child: Lux, down from last week's 2 million for Robot Revolution. It's pretty clear by now that the BBC and an idea-exhausted Russell T. Davies really are not at all interested in fixing what Chris Chibnall broke.

I hated Hack Snyder's version. Henry Cavil can't act and the suit looked like rubber designed to appear as some kind of mail armor with a ludicrous CGI cape that was wholly unconvincing. But James Gunn had one job--make Superman look and behave like Superman--and so far we have what looks like a WB/CW T.V. movie teen heartthrob edition.
Is it too much to ask that Superman look and behave like Superman? The new movie trailers are now out and I am not impressed. The actor is too skinny, the suit is obviously padded, and what is with those weird lines on the costume? And that ridiculous hair...!
Why does Lex Luthor look twelve? Could an older actor not have been cast?
