AMAZING! Do share what you build. That's the part I'm most excited by.

I would also love to know who is reviewing albums nowadays. It's been so long since I've released anything worthwhile that I'm so very out of the loop.
For your #BandcampFriday consideration.
It took us 5 years or so but we finally finished The Beating Birchs debut album.
It's the beginnings of a story about hope.
I did some sound design for an animation by my very talented brother for The Maxx! One of my favourite comics from the 90s. https://youtu.be/ZTYHrR0zszk?si=JtzKakFy3z3xxu4f
@raphaelmorgan @etherdiver https://resonate.coop/ is probably the most successful attempt at this type of coop music service so far. Worth checking out.
@RobeeShepherd V&A is the best! Had lots of fun l, lots of interesting people and all the other folks at the festival were amazing.
I'm showcasing some of my work at this little museum called the V&A in London this weekend as part of the digital design weekend. It's a free drop in event so do come down if you're free!
The Green Party has the same number MPs as Reform. The Green Party has policies that will benefit the country and make the world a better place.
The Green Party should get at least equal airtime and column inches as the vacuous, loud-mouthed divisive Farage.
Message to the media: stop promoting the fascists.

@diyelectromusic Is it just a fun name for a variable? The rest is the bones of the sound and the noise mix is the flesh?
@CA_Hawthorne I'm an instrument maker/hacker and a few years back I wanted to bring to life a story/world I'd been imagining. But I'm not a good storyteller or artist, so instead started building the instruments from that world instead. Imaginary instruments are wonderful as there's almost always a way to make them real.
In the before times we used to run a festival called 'algomech' in Sheffield UK. The pandemic put paid to that but we're now coming back with a new small festival called Alpaca (festival of Algorithmic Patterns in the Creative Arts). If you are curious about strange patterns in different forms then this one is for you!
There'll be a top notch algorave with people writing code to make electronic dance music, also a concert with pattern-based instrumental music and closing party that'll be a blend of the two. Weekend passes for all three music events start at £22.
There will also be loads of talks about different kinds of strange patterns. We'll announce the hands-on workshops soon too - ~10 different workshops to choose from around patterns in juggling, textiles, music etc.. A mix of heritage/craft workshops and more tech-infused ones.
It'll be a bit unfashionable in having little or no AI stuff.. Any algorithms involved will be wholesomely handmade by humans, whether ancient procedures from craft/music practice or live coding/algorave.
More details here: https://2025.algorithmicpattern.org/sheffield/
+ There'll also be an online conference running through the event and into the following weekend, with watch parties in Berlin and Sheffield.

Be sure to sign up to the newsletter for headline announcement etc!
@rasterweb those look good!
@jk The difference is stark, remarkable and adds a whole level of unique immersiveness to the objects perception. 5 stars.
@Tattooed_Mummy There's also been studies on us gingers feeling pain differently. So the same tattoo may have hurt on me a bit more than others.
Tariffs just got real: our first $36K bill with 125% + 20% + 25% markup hits hard 💸. These are upfront costs - due before selling a single unit - causing serious cash flow strain, price increases, read more! 📦 http://adafruit.com/tariffbill
Super simple 26-pin capacitive touchboard from a #raspberrypi #pico.
I did it again.
This time it's part of the #BigBotBash that Bill Making Stuff is running. So i had actual constraints this time. Still tons of fun to do!
@gcoleman thank you so much for the support! Looking forward to seeing what you build with it.
One of the excellent features of the SPOKE board is the very customisable neopixel lights. The kickstarter ends today if you want to grab an early bird discounted one!
I chose these colours for the demo as #transrightsarehumanrights
