Day 5 of my journey to earning my #blackbelt. Today was Week 1, Run 2. It was 20 minutes of running for 1 min, and walking for 1:30 minutes.

Today I improved my pace from the last run!

Just over two years ago I set the goal to earn my first #blackbelt. As part of this process, the goal of running a 5K in under 35 min has been set for me! I hate running and this will be, by far, the biggest challenge I face to earn my belt.

Today was week 1, run 1 of a couch to 5K program. Its not enough to make the goal... yet, but with consistent work, I will get there.

@MaryPot personally I am an Elegoo fan! Their prices are cheaper but you appear to get better hardware and better support. The Neptune 3 Pro is half that cost creates amazing prints!

I am upgrading the hotend today with the Spider v3, 50W heater cartridge, and new thermistor! Should be the last upgrade I do for a while. I still want to do the true dual Z but have not gotten around to it.

@jon what 3D printer are you using? I have an Elegoo Mars 3 resin printer as well as an Elegoo Neptune 3 FDM printer.

I started with a stock Elegoo Neptune 3 printer this past summer. From there I have:
* added Y axis linear rails
* added X axis linear rail
* Added bed leveling springs
* Added a heated bed insulation pad
* Add BLTouch
* Switched to a garolite build plate
* Switched to Klipper firmware

It's such a fun hobby with so much to learn, provided you are willing to put in the time and tinker with stuff.

@Mikiran I am adding a linear rail to the x axis. This upgrade will remove the v slot wheels. While not an improvement for quality of printing, it is an improvement in the sense that I wont' have as much preventative maintenance to do later, as the wheels wear down over time.

@Mikiran I am attending a class with a physical therapist to teach us how to stretch properly for Taekwondo class as wee as what we can do after workouts to keep us healthy and pain free.

I will also be installing a new upgrade to my #3dprinter

@asolitarybear I am looking at starting the IoT cert later this year as many of the clients we work with are moving to IoT. I also want to go for the Azure Architect, but I know that one is really intense!

@asolitarybear Thanks! The new renewal process for Microsoft Certifications is really nice. As long as you take the refresher exam before the cert expires, the renewal is free!
