Mid-Week Lashunta Inspiration
Artist: Hans Zatzka (1859 – 1945)

I've come to really love Zatzka's work. I like Zatzka its zest and vibrancy, for the interesting perpective of him being the equivalent of a fantasy artist in the latter 19th and early 20th centuries, and also for the perspective that he, like artists from his period, held a slightly different aesthetic of beauty than we commonly do today, which gives a window into that time's worldview.

This pic could easily be a gathering of wealthy Lashunta Damaya tarrying in a meticulously groomed elfyard. Maybe the lights over their heads are psychically conjured feylights for some ritual? What would that ritual be? Is it a mother with her daughters? Or a matron with her client-lovers?

Tabletop RPG Campaign, OPEN SEAT

My current #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav campaign started in March 2024.

The campaign has ran for over a year, and has had 22 game sessions. The characters are level 3.

A player dropped out recently. I'm left with three regular players and one intermittent player (and myself, the GM). Looking to fill the open seat with another regular player.

I had a player drop from my #P1e #Ustalav game on the 14th. I guess I should start looking for a new player, but I've been pretty busy recently so I haven't really started looking.

It's going to be harder not to TPK the level three party again now that we're back down to three regular players (and a fourth that is there occasionally); I need to fill that seat pretty soon.

Just received notice that the player of the medium 2/inquisitor 1 oread is bowing out of my #P1e #Ustalav game. I hate to see him go; I had upcoming character hooks that I thought he'd enjoy, and he always seemed to get really in-character.

He brought in two of the other players to the group, and I met them through him, so I hope his departure doesn't impact their desire to play.

Now I have to think about how to write him out of the campaign.

Earlier this evening in #P1e #Ustalav...

It was the full moon. One character was doing a planned 8-hour ritual (player absent).

The level 3 cleric, bloodrager, and rogue encountered a trio of indomitable #werewolf #ghouls. The werewolf ghouls sought #werewolves to add to their pack, so two of them departed the combat early, but the party brought down the third one.

They could have brought them all down but their rolls were hot garbage.

I'm on track for #P1e #Ustalav this Saturday (10 May).

The party's medium 2/inquisitor 1 oread will be busy with an 8 hour ritual during the full moon. (Player is unavailable but planned to do the ritual already.)

My plan is to have other party members encounter something #werewolf themed during the full moon. The rogue 3 halfling has the werewolf hunter background and a bunch of silver, so it's about time they met #werewolves in combat.

I came across this pic. Not only do I just plain like it, but the feathers struck me as almost antennae. This could almost be a lightly armed Damaya warrior. Possibly an outrider? Or a professional bodyguard?

The weapon on her back intrigues me. Is it a two-headed polearm? I have always thought that an impressive weapon style, except in practical terms. An extra blade means there's no good butt or heel to rest aground. The weilder is either always carrying it or is grinding their blade's edge into the dirt. Thoughts?

Mid-Week Lashunta Inspiration

So I've lately learned that dancing girls figure heavily in Chinese Art. This is just a smidge of a sample. What interests me is the floral emulation their dress exemplifies.
Despite all its rainfall, Castrovel is a highly flower-ridden world, a motif the Lashunta could easily emulate as well (just add antennae).

In my #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav game, the party has an artifact that can cast True Prognostication as a ritual on the night of the full moon. It's currently the day of the full moon in the game, and the party's medium has suggested a question they might ask it in the ritual. True Prognostication has very cryptic answers. I want to have something in my back pocket if they ask that question next session. I think it will be in the form of a poem.

In #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav tonight the party is on their way back to Sen's Pass. They encountered a #redcap #fey on the border of #Versex and #Amaans. The halfling rogue shot the redcap's cap with a called shot, and when it went to retrieve the cap (that had been carried 40 feet on the arrow), the party cleric channeled positive energy to heal the party while the redcap was out of range. The redcap, at under half its health, decided to hunt easier prey.
