I had two #crochet pieces in the #FunaDay LA popup show in Long Beach yesterday. My Book Blanket 2025 was displayed on an inflated mattress with a photo guide to show the original book covers involved; and handing on the wall above it, my "Facing the New Year" panel of twelve faces in squares.

This late Talking Heads classic seems like an apposite choice for 2026. Starting & finishing with almost gospel a-cappella sections, it shifts into a sort of military shuffle with continuing chanted vocals and a percussive drive. The song offers a relentless but almost mesmeric groove & sort of gets into your head. You'll be singing the chorus for the rest of the day... sorry about that.
