I took this the other day but forgot to post. One of the best parts of living on the prairie in #Montana are the #sunset and sunrises. Truly #BigSkyCountry.

@JaniceOCG I wish that more of my fellow #Montanans remembered that our state was once a place where everyone was welcome and valued. I know there have always been the racist assholes but for a while THEY were the ostracized minority.

I keep thinking about how, in Lord of the Rings, good never actually triumphed over evil. Frodo simply... held on. He held on, and bore that immense burden of holding on long enough for evil to finally, utterly, destroy itself in the fires of Mount Doom.

I don’t post much about my actual life and circumstances—I doubt many people care. But last year I survived acute appendicitis, appendiceal #cancer, and a thyroidectomoy. Life has been hard. Somehow all that has been less depressing than the malignancy of the #Trump administration. I wish I could force compassion into Trump, #Musk, #zuckerberg and ther ilk with the force of a atom bomb. I don’t give a damn if they’re conservatives, what bothers me is how they care about no one but themselves.
