I enjoyed her House of Spirits, I’m sure this will be interesting. #bookstodon

Currently reading “Romola” (1862-63) by George Eliot. It takes place in Florence in the 1490s, and contains historical characters like Machiavelli and Savonarola. The main character is Romola, a young florentine woman.

Very different setting from Eliot’s other books, but enjoyable. I’m impressed by how well she seems to know the time period. #bookstodon

to continue my last post, I listen mostly to classic rock, also 90s grunge + britpop and some newer pop #music.
