Two weeks ago, I published a figure containing a mistake. I have updated my font and made a new figure.
Tolkien was not fond of the alphabetic English modes. He wrote next to one such mode: "The point of the alphabet disappears. The following is a possible usage, however."
3 such modes have been published so far. Each will have a dedicated Font file (probably named English-A Tengwar Alphabetic, English-B Tengwar Alphabetic, English-C Tengwar Alphabetic).

i watched the Hobbit movie trilogy for the first time recently and despite going in EXPECTING it to be very little like the book, wow it was certainly very little like the book 😂 I wonder how mad #Tolkien would be at it if he were still with us

From "How Tolkien Means" by Orson Scott Card
It's from Meditations on Middle-Earth, which i stumbled upon in the library. Full of interesting texts on #tolkien and his work by #ursulakleguin , #terrypratchett , #georgerrmartin and others. Especially interesting since it came out shortly before the movie-adaptions by #peterjackson . Good companion to reading the #lordoftherings to the kids.
I didn’t think I’d have this opinion but…
I’m watching the Lord of the Rings films with Littlest and I think that they’re too short. Even the extended cut version. I think it should have been 6 films.
I’ve listened to the audiobooks a few times now and the films feel like a really superficial synopsis.
