@andresmh CHIWORK is an interdisciplinary conference, and it focuses on how topics related to HCI can support work, its future, and the related concept of worker well-being. For instance, an ethnographic description of work practices, typical for CSCW, which also helps us understand how we can think of the future of work, would be a good fit for CHIWORK. Hope this helps!

Next was an enjoyable talk by Ayse Kucukyilmaz at @chiwork on physical human and #robot interaction. This interaction is becoming increasingly commonplace, and yet social norms are often not modeled as part of system development. This discussion covers issues from #factories to the home and where the space should go from here youtube.com/watch?v=gemUuyiHc1 (6/7)

Next was a sensational discussion with Palashi Vaghela at @chiwork on #caste effects in #tech. This topic has only started to gain prominence, and Vaghela's work blows the lid off this huge issue. She's able to quantitatively look at this issue first by examining a subset of #Twitter #data on Indian politicians, and then following that up with rich qualitative insight on #workers throughout tech. Highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=S0T9t2HY41 (5/10)

Next was a topical conversation on #AI in artistic #work with Kıvanç Tatar and Kelsey Cotton at @chiwork. Not sure how I feel about generating #art with others' appropriated work, but the framework on different algorithmic artifacts presented here seems useful lnkd.in/e-v8AJSs (8/12)

Last was an excellent discussion with @yunusdogantelliel on the future of "The Future of Work" at @chiwork. This is an essential conversation for folks in #management, #PeopleAnalytics, and #tech, as it gets to the importance of questioning our framings and bringing together various methods and #ethics throughout the process of creating #work futures. Highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=GmZ3QSnwGW (12/12)

Next was an engrossing discussion on human and #algorithm #collaboration with Dakuo Wang and @toby at @chiwork. Wang beautifully flips the common paradigm: design "algorithm in the loop" systems for #work, where people and our goals and processes take primacy. Highly recommend
