@maridonkers Seems to be an issue with the KF5 VCL which was fixed in later versions: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159915
Forcing a different VCL using the SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN environment variable as described in that bug (or just deleting the KF5 VLC forcing it to fail back to a different VCL) works.

Good to know that I can swap them in the BIOS, but I usually use an external keyboard which I took the care to check when I chose it that all the keys are in the right place.

@theredstonedev_de What I find weirder is that it only fails with one codec. I don't have this issue if I switch to the CVSD codec, but the sound quality is much lower. That's why I thought it could be a software issue (bluetoothd, pipewire, kernel or whatever).
Maybe it's an issue with the earbuds firmware? Or some issue with these earbuds which only happens some kind of Bluetooth adaptors?

@theredstonedev_de I don't have other earbuds I can try now, but yes, I have to get other and try it because I suspect that could be the issue because it's also failing with another laptop which is totally different (the current one is Thinkpad with Fedora and the other one is Tuxedo with Gentoo).
However, it had been working so far with another Fujitsu laptop (now broken) with the same exact Fedora version.
