"Just use Linux" is much like "just ride a bike" or "just shop at a refill store" - accessing the non default option can be time consuming, expensive or unavailable locally. We need to recognise you need a certain degree of privilege to have the capacity to complicate your life voluntarily. We need to be trying to make the better, harder thing more accessible, not blaming people for not using it.

If you don’t understand:

- The profit motive.

- Slowly boiling frogs.

- Institutional corruption (the influence of corporate finance in political decision-making – i.e., lobbying and revolving doors).

You will keep getting surprised over and over gain by what corporations and the politicians bought by the corporations do.

@w4tsn ich fänd es interessant, wenn einfließen würde, wie sehr (gewählte) Parteien die Faktoren aus dem vorherigen Wahl-O-Mat auch vertreten/umgesetzt haben oder ob sie sich vielleicht gegensätzlich verhalten haben, also die Standpunkte in gewissen Bereichen gar nicht verlässlich sind.

@w4tsn diese selbstreflektiertheit, sich selbst als heuchlerisch zu empfinden und darüber hinaus mit dieser Tatsache auch noch ein Problem zu haben, ist genau das was der deutschen Gesellschaft über die letzten zwei-drei Jahrzehnte (schwarzgelber) Wohlstandsverwahrlosung abhanden gekommen ist.
