Many think #banks are #neutral (for it's #speculation? investment into #war? #paying for what #profits most devastating in a short time?) and it isn't #moral actually passing through those hands full of #bad actors (#immoral #investments) and growing what #fucks people best and #sucks most out of them.

I mean "you're losing out" or "scared" since a loser might include this of #silly question and circular "afraid of my own shadow" stuff / "afraid of everyone" position... the stupid "who are you" question online, -instead of something "a bit more" #intellectual / social which I thought you might be. While it's not "all your fault" or even 1 person's fault, the word "social" you added is in itself a bit of a clue to the fallacy (we're doing one-way mostly and in text format - all highly stripped of human voice / personality etc)

So while it's not great to get comments like you mention it is somewhat of a compliment to be read at least and human in this way to get such negative / weird things when popular.

@thalon Hi, did you find someone in the end? And are you interested in talking together as audio chat? I think a kind of support for ourselves as friends, seeing what we have in common, maybe spreading out in more online chats to make this really a social? So peer to peer as a nice thing however each wants... sounds good ? (we could audio talk so I can describe more what I mean and answer your questions? I use #Jitsi which is a simple non-commercial link and needs no signup etc, 1min in browser.

I think it's about levels of awareness and social communication, so being here shows a certain level - so I understand it's limiting but my previous experience is that websites etc:

- Often don't lead to contact / huge delay / overwhelms people
- Mastodon is more direct (and somewhat privacy respecting) whereas Gmail isn't
- The level of person here probably has other talents needed (e.g not just academia which there is plenty, killing planet also+paying for it)
