When I was a kid, bedtime was 9 pm. l couldn't wait to be a grownup so I could go to bed anytime I wanted.

Turns out that is 9 pm.

Today’s work in the #penplotter. I really enjoy the way plotters lend themselves both to the sort of art you can hang on your wall, and to more “practical” decorations like postcards, and bookmarks, and this #notebook cover here.
Supplies: 147gsm white cardstock, extra fine Platinum preppy fountain pen, DeAtrementis Document black ink, Axidraw V3 pen plotter
#GenerativeArt #PlotterArt #plottertoot #CreativeCoding #axidraw #AlgorithmicArt

A geometric drawing of a rough landscape filled by hatching at various densities. There are two trees at the top. The sky is dark and spotted with stars. The same drawing from the first image, now folded in half. It is the cover of a notebook.

@tschaefer Thanks for the testing 👍

#Ipv6 is slowly driving me insane. My personal website's server is (supposed) to be configured to support it, but my home network does not, so any issues with the configuration are completely invisible to me. 🤦‍♂️

"Bug" is such an unfriendly word. I prefer the term "surprise feature"

This seems to be turning into one of those days where the software on my computer seems to dislike me personally.

I'm finally giving vanilla #emacs a try. As much as I love my vim keybindings and #EvilMode, I just keep running into friction between that and the rest of emacs. Yes, of course you can rebind and customize things, but it got tedious quickly

The image depicts a black and white illustration of a tractor, labeled "A Strange Tractor" at the bottom. The tractor is shown in a side view, with its cabin and wheels clearly visible. The wheels are stylized with concentric circles, in the mathematical pattern of strange attractors. Yes, it's a terrible pun.

Don't you love it when the example in the documentation for a library is the exact task you're using it for

I was having a perfectly nice day until I found out that urls can have parentheses in them. It's a fascinating and frustrating thing about #programming that that's all it takes to make solving a problem way more complicated than you thought it was going to be

Do you ever get the urge to draw exactly 1000 lines? #penplotter

I can't remember how I ever managed without #vim text motions, and I don't want to

It’s new notebook day 🥳 These pocket notebooks are nice and simple, but so satisfying to make.

It's always a sad day when you have to admit that your project isn't going anywhere fast enough to justify renewing the domain.

On the bright side, that frees up room in the budget for a domain for this *other* side project!

My public #library gives me access to most of O'Reilly's oline catalog of technical books. I would have been happy with just the regular books, but this is a great resource. Hooray for public libraries!
