I know I've said it before, but it bears repeating every now and again:

Like Miyazaki, I consider these things and what they make to be "An insult to life itself," because creating art is the most essential part of being human. Generative AI is not just infringing on copyright--it is stealing that which is most fundamentally, expressively, and essentially human in us.

If I find that you have done taken my works and fed them to generative AI, I will block your ability to access anything I create, as well as access to me, as completely as I can, no forgiveness.

This is not a trivial thing to me. It is the theft of my soul, as far as I'm concerned.
