@mickgeek Thanks Michael! I should get busy setting everything up in the next 4-6 months.

@woe2you Duly noted! I will take another good look at Supermicro servers.
Dell is of course well known and has a longstanding good relationship with Linux, which is why it was my go-to option.

@tripu I suppose purchasing something you like triggers a dopamine rush, that can easily become an addiction.
@backmota Buena lista, ¡es un honor que me incluyas!
Voy a echar un vistazo al resto de blogs, seguro que encuentro alguno interesante que añadir a mi lector de RSS.
@andros Very interesting, kudos on the project!
As you can see from my article my choice of Isso is not because it's the best software available, just what it was most readily available for me to integrate.
Looking at glosa, I like the choice of Clojure, but the choice to use a single file with JSON seems weird at first glance. I think using SQLite gives you the benefits of having a file while offloading a lot of work to the DB engine.
I added self-hosted comments to my blog, try them out for a spin!

@ngmi@mastodon.online
@cryptadamist @rdviii You don't need to "go on forever", just scale enough so everybody can transact on-chain for cheap.
This 2017 article explained how it is possible both technically and economically while maintaining good decentralization (thousands of independent miners):
https://blog.vermorel.com/journal/2017/12/17/terabyte-blocks-for-bitcoin-cash.html
@rdviii @cryptadamist Hard disagree: Bitcoin was designed to easily scale to VISA levels.
This is stated clearly by Satoshi Nakamoto in this email to Mike Hearn:
The problem is that Bitcoin's blocksize was never meant to be capped at 1 MiB, that's the root of the problem with BTC. Other Bitcoin forks like BCH or XEC don't have this artificial limitation and can scale.

@alhuelamo @andros @gasull Sí, en eso creo que estamos todos de acuerdo, la monocultura del motor de Chromium es negativa para la web.
@nemith I just use fish shell and get real-time help when autocompleting flags.
To all #Firefox users (v128 and newer) - untick that checkbox
