@mlanger Intriguing. I've not heard of this.
I'm someone who enjoys peaceful spots to walk, read, & take photos. I enjoy #bloomscrolling to see the beauty in your part of our world. I've learned a lot here, especially, #kindness.
From my world, my little dog, forest trails, my nightly movies, snacks, & random silliness or somberness.

Michael Caine is 93 today.
@TheZorse I've been curious about that, too. I always take a look beforehand to see if they share things I'm interested in.
@TheZorse
That song happened to cross my mind last night when I was, with fondness, thinking about a long-ago love ❤️ Good times. I haven't heard it in years either so I thought I would share it.
@TheZorse I happened upon it at a market selling many imported goods. It's from Portugal. It's really delicious.

Happy birthday, Bertie!

Furiously windy night underneath my favorite handmade cotton crocheted Afghan blanket.
Several episodes of Columbo with Peter Falk. Always a good thing.
Toast. Best discovery ever. *fig & honey jam.
I took this picture late summer in 2007 near Hveragerði, Iceland. I hadn’t been taking artistic pictures for long. 18 years later this still seems to be my magnum opus. The light was just right. Everything was just right. The sunlight striking the bright field backlit the horses. Crepuscular rays toppling over gently rolling hills in the background. It’s going to be hard for me to top this one, but not impossible!
Every time I look at this picture I’m immediately snapped back to that moment. I hear the birds, the gentle breeze that can be seen animating the horse’s manes, I’m standing there in my 20’s appreciating it, holding the camera but almost forgetting to take the picture. 😅
I hope you can appreciate the moment as well!

A floppy in a camera? I had no idea that really happened.
Predawn viewing of an important television series:
The Animanics starring "The Warner Brothers and their sister, Dot."
Feeding time on the farm can be interesting. There are horses that think dinner is 3 hours late. There are horses that think all the food is theirs. And there are horses that want scratches with their dinner. It can be a truly dangerous time for humans.
A thread 1/4
It takes an hour or two to feed the herd and it leaves me singing things like...
And as we feed on down the herd
There waits a beer that we all know
That's cold and clear like we deserve
And if you work very hard
The beer will come to you at last
When work is done and all are fed
To be relaxed and very calm
With hors deurves and camembert
And he's drinking the beer made in heaven
