Along the north branch of the Chicago River a fallen tree provides tenuous crossing over the shallow flowing, but murky, water. Does one risk walking on the trunk to cross? Or just live and get wet?

About the photos I post.. I try really hard to make good, and at times entertaining alt text. Other than some times having to rotate or crop a bit, they are untouched originals. I mainly use an X-T30. But randomly also my Google Pixel 8.

Regarding cost of using the LLMs.. You could just wait until the "AI" pushers realize that NNs are the wrong tool for the job. When magnitudes simpler, statistical methods work the same or better (https://aclanthology.org/2023.findings-acl.426/).
