Media have been reporting about a trial of a former secretary of the commandant of Stutthof concentration camp.

Many wrote that the camp was located in German/Nazi occupied Poland.

It is true that the Stutthof Memorial is today located in Poland, yet the camp was in fact built in the territory of the Free City of Danzig that was annexed by the Third Reich at the very beginning of ww2.

Accuracy matters.

Can someone explain the John Mastodon stuff to me?

Living in the countryside is great until you hear what sounds like someone screaming and you have to work out: is it an owl? Is it a fox? Was that a deer? Was it a cat? Or was it a human? Do I call the police or do I just consider how freaky nature is?

@tobadzistsini I don’t know but there are times when strange and unexpected things have happened and I’ve been scared by them, and other times when I’ve just been amused and puzzled. I think it has a lot to do with how you’ve primed yourself, if you’ve been on edge in the lead up. Maybe I should blog about this.

Before treatment on his injured paws, he didn’t like human contact. When he came back home he wanted nothing but cuddles!

He was a feral stray with injured paws that we took in to help recover and he’s been here ever since

all I’m saying is that it would be nice once in a while to get a little holographic sticker that acknowledges the things I try hard to do. ‘You cleansed and toned your face before going to sleep’, ‘you untied your shoelaces before taking off your shoes’, ‘you ate a fruit on purpose’. That stuff motivated me in Primary School and it would now. Adulting is hard sometimes, someone give me a damn sticker!
