Can we get a mouse with magsafe? Many of us use our laptops on small tables that we have to move back and forth constantly, meaning that Bluetooth mice constantly end up flying and crashing on the floor. A magsafe ring on the bottom, paired with a magsafe ring on the table, would allow us to snap it securely to the table when not in use. It could even be used for charging the mouse as well. Thank you.

I have a few Whatsapp requests
The edit button should allow editing of messages forever. Not just a few minutes, not just a few days. We should be able to tap any of our messages and edit them as we see fit. We want complete control over our digital footprint, and the lack of forever editing takes that away from us.
The platform should allow us to go into settings on our primary device and have a setting that says "allow for 2 primary devices". This would in turn allow us to logon to Whatsapp on a second device without wiping the first device if we don't use the "linked devices" feature.
Email and username - let's move past phone numbers. I don't want to give my phone number to everyone, but I do sometimes like to communicate with new people on a general purpose platform like Whatsapp, but please don't require us to give out phone numbers. Thanks.
Turn one laptop port into five for under $19 with this Anker hub
The Anker 5-in-1 hub is nearly half off at Amazon.
Not a typo! Google Pixel 9 is just $399 for Presidents' Day sale right now
$400 off the regular price

The First Android Accessory I Buy Is a MagSafe Case

@inno4295 Don't forget all the alternative apps that access Mastodon. I'm using Moshidon, there's Tusky, Husky, and many more
An interesting article on what is needed for the Fediverse to "take off" as an alternative to commercial social platforms. Some of what's needed is ways to find quality content, easy migration, easy way to connect as a group,
In order to capitalize on network effects as people shift from old platforms to new ones, we need to think about what’s holding people back.
Google, can we get a way to freeze apps built into the android operating system?
Google Chat is nice, especially with the addition of voice message transciptions. one thing i'd like to see is maybe an option to have the voice message play by default through the earpiece for a bit of "privacy", or give users the option to mark a voice message as private or something like that so it plays via earpiece by default.
Also, and I think more importantly, we need private space for multiple users. android 15 does a good job with private space on the default user space. however, currently, there is no way to create a private space when inside of an alt user space. the functionality is limited to the default. and while it does work well to be able to access an alt user space relatively securely while still "inside" of the default user space, having an alt user space is a bit more secure, and it would be nice to be able to access our "default" space via private space, when logged into our alt space.
Android Fans Won Big at CES With Qi2 Support

Google, Apple, and Samsung should come up with a solution to fix the heat and inefficiency issues related to magnetic battery packs. I have a suggestion:
Design, manufacture, and sell a magnetic powerbank+phone case that goes beyond magsafe to bring energy directly from the magnetic battery pack into the phone's USBC port.
imagine a battery pack with a few pogo pins embedded around its magsafe ring that could pair with an phone case that has the matching contact pads, along with a wire embedded in the case that goes from the magsafe ring into the phone's usbc port. energy from the battery pack could flow directly into the usbc port of the phone, without loose wires, giving both the benefit of a magsafe connection (pocketable, easily removed when not needed, backwards compatible with qi2, works with magnetic accessories like phone grips, car mounts, wallets, etc), along with the benefits of direct contact energy transfer (no loss of energy and much better thermal management)
draft - Topic - Apple watch working with Android. The iPhone exclusivity period should be over by now. It's been a decade. It is time, legally, that apple should be made to allow Android users to be able to setup and use apple watch without iPhone.
it'd be nice if qi3 magsafe could do 30w, coupled with a relatively thin 6000mah 30w magsafe battery pack with magsafe on the battery pack itself to attach phone grips for when it's connected to the phone. no more empty battery. and we could keep using our phone grip even when the battery pack is attached.
If the point of qi2 magnetic power profile is to increase efficiency and align the charging coils better, then it's time we move beyond 15 watts up to 30 watts. Aren't some countries doing 50w wirelessly anyway? Magsafe should at *least* be doing 30 in 2025.
