Can we get a mouse with magsafe? Many of us use our laptops on small tables that we have to move back and forth constantly, meaning that Bluetooth mice constantly end up flying and crashing on the floor. A magsafe ring on the bottom, paired with a magsafe ring on the table, would allow us to snap it securely to the table when not in use. It could even be used for charging the mouse as well. Question for trackball users: Should I get a trackball mouse? I need a mouse that doesn't move.
I have never used one. I'm willing to deal with the learning curve.
Most of the time I'm a keyboard-only user, but I like to work on photography from time to time. Photo processing software is, of course, very mouse intensive.
My desk is very small and the mouse with its mouse-pad don't fit very well, specially when a notepad, a cellphone or camera is part of the workflow and it's on the desk too, next to the mouse. But, on the other hand, a trackball doesn't move.
I'm trying to do my own research, but the paid reviews are getting in my way, and I can't always differentiate between a genuine user reporting the benefits of a trackball or a "review".

I can’t use a #ComputerMouse anymore. I’ve just tried because for some reason I still have one lying around in my desk.
But after 15 years with a#MacBook and before that using #TrackPoint|s, the muscle memory is gone.
I couldn’t be bothered carrying around a mouse and quickly adapted to alternative input methods. To me, the #TrackPad is as precise as a mouse ever was.
Scrolled by fast and thought "interesting design for a computer mouse".

Ope, I found a way to assign buttons to change DPI without flipping over the mouse.
The software is not super intuitive.
So I've been using this Keychron M6 mouse for a few days.
It's very light compared to what I'm used to. I tend to like a heavier mouse. I'm not a gamer, though a heavier mouse gave me better precision when I was a gamer. I know DPI switching kinda took this over.
There's no apparent quick DPI switching though. The button is on the bottom.
I'm not a fan of how loud the scroll wheel is.
Otherwise, it seems pretty okay.
