We are an informal group of exploited, oppressed, marginalized people acting for a safe/r fediverse. We want the fediverse instances playing their part in defederating what serves as megaphone of kyriarchal contents, and supports policies in that direction. We want to isolate social.byoblu.com (the wannabe Italian Gab) and who federates it.

When we talk about conspiratorialism, we focus (naturally) on the content of the conspiracy. Not only are those stories entertainingly outlandish - they're also the point of contact between conspiracists and the world.
If your mom is shouting about "Hollywood pedos," it's natural that you'll end up discussing the relationship of this belief to observable reality. But while the content of conspiratorial beliefs gets lots of attention, we tend to neglect the *significance* of those beliefs.

BTW, had to dig a bit but looks like it is official, that #Gab has not been on the Fediverse since a change this summer.
Frankly, we won. Note how one key point in their decision here was how isolated they were off the Fediverse compared to costs to keep it going.

A: The fact that you do not experience harm from their content, does not mean it can be generalized. Our concern is not about casting everything we disagree with out of the Internet, it is about preventing damage to whom already is target of harassment and marginalization.
