@TheCybermatron I'm of the same view - that book isn't out until this year. I've been receiving emails about the fact that it's *coming*, not to say it's arrived.

My latest #blog post is a bit of fun: "The Nanderson project".
(It's not techy.)

I spent some time working with @jetbrains AI recently, and found it really useful. In my latest #blog post I share my thoughts on "Coding with JetBrains AI as a partner".

Last week I had an #eVitabu dev week, and finally got push notifications working 🥳. I talk about the week in this #blog post.

I just sponsored jeromegamez as the Firebase PHP SDK they maintain really helped me on #eVitabu last week 🙂.
In January I bought a Kobe Libra Colour and Kobo Stylus 2 so I could read books with colour images on an eInk screen, and take notes. I've just published a three part review on my #blog.
CEO fraud is a common tactic used by criminals. As security professionals it's our job to help protect our colleagues from receiving these emails.
In this #blog post #howto #tutorial I show you how you can use Microsoft Exchange Online mail flow rules as part of your defence in depth strategy to reduce the risk to your organisation.
I've been playing with "AI" tools, this time to see how they can help with job applications. Today I used Microsoft Copilot to review my CV and compare it to a job advert.
Details in this #blog post.

I've forgotten to comment a few times when I've released a new #blog post, so here's today's post. Probably not my best article, but hopefully still a useful read.

Today unboxing a Kobo LIbra Colour ereader I received as a gift.
Two things I immediately like:
* it mounts via USB as a plain storage device (formatted FAT32) under Linux (LMDE) and epub files can be simply copied to the device in the console
* its a simple matter to add a one-liner to the plaintext config file stored on the device to disable the need to register and setup an account (user has options)
Kudos Kobo!
Do you transfer ePub files to your #kobo but find you have slow page turns? The solution is to convert your books to KePub format. I published a how to #blog post this week:

After having my @FrameworkPuter Framework 16 laptop for about four weeks I've written a more detailed review #blog post than my first one. Read more here:

Having received my @FrameworkPuter Framework 16 laptop in the week, I've published a #blog post about my initial thoughts.

@neil I don't often buy second hand tech, but if I did it probably securely erase (or destroy) the drive and replace it anyway, just because I don't want to risk a faulty drive. Other than confirming the device boots, I'm not interested in the original drive.
I did buy some memory sticks for research purposes, to see what was on them. I need to finish that blog post, but at no point would I publicly show any identifiers of the former owners. I actually bought them pre-pandemic and haven't got round to finishing that blog post. I've no idea the identities of the original owners now.
I've published the second #blog post in my series looking at what I do as a senior information security officer. Hopefully it's interesting to you!

I just blogged about what my role as a senior information security officer involves - the first post of at least two parts.
Hopefully interesting to those considering this field 🙂.

Having used my Keychron K8 Pro keyboard on and off for a few months, I've just published my #blog post about programming it and comparing it to my WASD V3.

It's taken me almost two years, but my #blog post on my 2022 #honeypot research is up. Interesting change in motivation when compared to 2021.

I get a load of security questionnaires as part of my job, and I talk about what these are in my #blog post.
