Reminder about the #LLVM / #Clang #Meetup in #Darmstadt
That’s happening Wednesday 28th May.
In #MetaCG (the thing that survived from my PhD time), we have just merged some basic #Python bindings, such that you can inspect the generated call graphs without needing to write C++ \o/
Check it out at https://github.com/tudasc/MetaCG
If you want to check out the latest and greatest development work, we made AOMP 21.0-1 public.
This is not a product, but what we typically use for development, so it can serve as a developer-preview.
You can check out the changes in the release notes. https://github.com/ROCm/aomp/releases/tag/rel_21.0-1
Falls jemand in #münchen am Hauptbahnhof ein Dalmatiner Kuscheltier findet mit “Lisiane Lehr” im Ohr, lasst es mich gerne wissen.
Ich kenne mehrere Personen die sich sehr freuen würden. 😂
The Oregon State open source lab which provides hosting for hundred of open source projects, as well as research, resources, and support to countless other others is in trouble and we will shut down soon if they can’t find $250,000. Spread the word and donate https://give.fororegonstate.org/PL1Uv3Fkug
Mark your calendars! Next #LLVM #Meetup #Darmstadt happening on May 28th 2025, starting 7pm.
We will have three shorter talks to cover a variety of cool topics around #compilers and #tooling support. \o/

I have published a short post that I don’t know if the world actually needed it. But anyway. Check it out if you’re curious!
Hey engineers!
Any leads for #OpenSource #CPP #software that uses C++ StdPar parallelism as their (main) parallelization scheme?
Would be quite interested in learning about such apps and domains where that is used.
Great news everybody! We are moving #MetaCG development into the open! 🎉
I wrote a brief blog post about it: https://jplehr.de/2025/03/31/metacg-development-moves-into-open/

Just came across this and think this is pretty cool.
Okay, I need your help!
I am finalising my PhD thesis at the moment, and it is "tradition" to have a quote at the beginning of each chapter. Now I want to be difficult: I want quotes from FEMALE astronomers / scientists talking about astronomy.
Shoot me your favourites pls 🙏🏻
I posted a few notes about a machine I put together and did some initial steps with #ZFS.
There will be more coming, not sure when though.

Flang-tastic! LLVM's Fortran compiler finally drops the training wheels

Another all-FOSS option – just don't confuse it with all the other Flangs

I put another little blog post online about my work around the #LLVM #buildbots I manage for my dayjob.
